Burst Pipe Update

Thames Water’s head office has come back to me with a response to questions about recent burst pipe incidents, they’ve stated that their “asset management team” are reviewing the local network. They have promised me a report by mid-April and a face to face meeting to follow so I’ll post more as I get it.

Burst Water Main

Water Main Repair Status – I’ve just received an update form the Civil Protection Team at Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue about the burst water main in Fairford. Market back on today (Wednesday 9th Jan)

Fairford’s Market is held every Wednesday from 9am till 12.30pm. In Fairford’s Market Place you can find a wide variety of stalls including bakers, cheese makers, card sellers, fruit & vegetable sellers and more.

No/Low Water Pressure Alert

No/Low Water Pressure – Farmors Closed / Primary Closed Not all of Fairford but seems fairly widespread, Thames Water are aware, their faults website only describes it as a “GL7” event. Burst pipe somewhere near Aldsworth, engineers on site trying to fix the problem. Apparently there is water in Sunhill Close in Fairford.
