About Me

Andrew is the Liberal Democrat District Councillor for the Fairford North Ward (Cotswold District Council) and an Independent Town Councillor for the Fairford North Ward (Fairford Town Council).

Andrew lives in Fairford with his wife and daughters. He has spent over twenty years in the Cotswolds and moved to Fairford, from Kempsford, eight years ago.

He was voted onto the district council in 2017 in a by-election and is standing in for re-election because he believes there is still lots of work to do. He has spent the last two years fighting for infrastructure improvements, enhancing waste and recycling practises, making the budget work better for the community and ensuring sure everyone has a voice in Fairford’s future. Andrew is committed to holding CDC accountable and improving its performance.

Andrew works at a local company that provides industrial sensing and monitoring services. He has worked in technology for most of his career and this is the second business he has started in the Cotswolds.

He has been involved in his local community wherever he has lived. He became a school governor in Kempsford when his children started there, ultimately becoming chair of governors there. He was a governor for 10 years and stepped down from that role in 2018. He also joined Fairford Town Council in 2017 and currently chairs the Finance committee.

Andrew has spent his working life solving problems and making things happen. It’s not easy and change doesn’t happen overnight, but as your representative Andrew is committed to working with you, and for you, to make Fairford better.
