Stay at home advice being ignored (Gloucestershire Constabulary)

by andrewdoherty on 26 March, 2020

Police have been out on patrol of open spaces today and found 17 persons at Broadway Tower having “A Day Out”. These person had travelled from as far afield as Birmingham and Coventry. Also we were told of other travelling from Leamington Spa, Evesham , Pershore and Upper Rissington. These distances are to far to go to do the daily exercise and are putting a lot of people at risk , including us!!All have been notified they could have been issued a fixed penalty notice from today for £60. This is halved if paid within 14 days. On a repeat offence the ticket doubles up to a maximum fine of £960. We police by consent so we don’t want to issue tickets. have a thought for the hard working NHS and loved ones: https://ift.tt/3akcyeK” target=”_blank”>https://ift.tt/3bu5H2p Home Save LivesMany thanksPC 2201 Nick Westmacott
