This is a message from the neighbourhood policing team.

In the last two weeks, there have been residential burglaries in The Croft, Back Lane and Lygon Court in Fairford. In all three cases offenders have gained entry through a window and have searched the properties. Jewellery and silverware were taken from two of the properties. Due to the recent increase in burglaries we ask that residents stay alert and follow crime prevention techniques such as keeping windows and doors locked and keeping lights on when you leave the house. There is a crime prevention shop in Cirencester Police Station. Please continue to report any suspicious activity in your area by calling 101.
