Following on from reports of a large disorder involving 40 youths at the Riverside Pub in Lechlade on the evening of 21/07/21, there was a large Police presence due to initial reports of weapons however no weapons were located and the numbers were far smaller than initially reported. 3 persons were identified as being involved and as a result were promptly arrested and taken to custudy.

The local NPT will be in the area carrying out additional patrols and will be working with management at the Riverside Pub to prevent any similar incidents in the future. The Police Licensing Officer will also be making a visit and working closely with the pub.
