Cotswolds police have been out today to promote the summer anti drink/drug drive campaign. This includes us doing breath tests the morning after drinking. We have also incorporated speed checks carried out at:Longborough, Moreton-in-Marsh, Bourton-on-the-Hill, Stow-on-the-Wold. 38 Vehicles in total have been stopped 5 given speeding tickets; 3 negative breath tests; 2 HGV’s stopped on A436 with the new weight restriction at Adlestrop Railway Bridge.
