A quick message to advise that your local Neighbourhood Policing Team are aware concerns raised by residents about the use of a Ford Focus around Lechlade in recent days. Last night responding to further calls, PC Neil Lightfoot & PCSO Zee Bulbul, located the Focus parked and unattended in Gassons Way, Lechlade. The car was found to have no current keeper, expired Vehicle Excise and no insurance and was seized. If the owner does not come forward the car will be crushed.

The officers took this decision as although the car was parked and unattended it was on a public highway. We are concerned about the use of such cars on the road and the character and conduct of the type of person who would use it in the circumstances above.

Zee and Neil would be dead keen to hear from residents if the Focus is replaced. Thanks for your support.
