Burst Water Main

Water Main Repair Status – I’ve just received an update form the Civil Protection Team at Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue about the burst water main in Fairford.
Thames Water are saying that the water main has now been fixed. The water is (slowly) recharging and should return to normal. (Mrs Doherty tells me that there is pressure at our house now).
Thames water still have a tanker and bottled water on route to Hyperion House as a precautionary measure.
Thames water have 26 locations on their priority services register and have had a representative liaising with them. As water supply is returning, there is no longer a need to deliver bottled water to other vulnerable people.My additional note: Since this looks a lot like a repeat of the last incident I’ll be asking Thames Water for more post-incident information and what measures they are taking to avoid this happening again …
