Neighbourhood Watch message From PC 2071 Weedon

Your Neighbourhood Policing Team has a set a community priority for Drug use/dealing in Fairford. Information over time has been received by members of the community concerned about drug use in the Town, especially around the Walnut Tree Field area.

We will be conducting dedicated patrols around this area at various times of day and night to try and detect and deter this sort of activity in the area. An operation involving officers from other areas of the Cotswolds took place on the evening of Friday 8th February, where high visibility and plain clothes patrols took place. On this occasion nobody was caught but 2 cars were stopped in the car park on Milton Street.
